LINEAR WINCH
MODEL CLI 210
| GENERAL INFORMATION The model CLI 210 linear winch is a proven design used in numerous applications worldwide. The winch is sized to accommodate 64 mm diameter wire rope and incorporates two grip assemblies. The grip assemblies are referred to as (A) the anchor grip and (B) the jacking grips. The anchor grip is stationary and the jacking grip is powered by hydraulic cylinders. You will note that during the disconnect procedures, the anchor grip will be pinned open and the jacking grip will tension the guide wire rope. After the pins are disconnected, the jacking grip is retracted allowing the buoy to rise. The anchor grips are then unpinned and the linear winches will operate together paying out wire rope and allowing the buoy to rise to the predetermined level. |
| PERFORMANCE |
|||
| The pumping units
in the hydraulic powerplant are four stage units which provide four speed ranges. |
|||
| Operation Mode | Maximum Pull | Overall Line Speed | |
| Pull | 72 | metric Tonnes | 1.2 mpm |
| Pull | 96 | metric Tonnes | 0.9 mpm |
| Pull | 120 | metric Tonnes | 0.6 mpm |
| Pull | 120 | metric Tonnes | 0.3 mpm |
| Payout | 72 | metric Tonnes | 1.0 mpm |
| Payout | 96 | metric Tonnes | 0.75 mpm |
| Payout | 120 | metric Tonnes | 0.5 mpm |
| Payout | 120 | metric Tonnes | 0.25 mpm |
| Note: The low speed range does not result in higher line pulls as this is the limitation imposed by the maximum hydraulic pressure available. This is in fact merely an additional speed range. |
